The writer of this article steps outside of the lines at least a bit and only for a moment. The writer of this brief article on the laptop notebook and the liberation of owning a portable unit spends a good part of each day hammering away on the keyboard of a long used laptop notebook.
In the early days of the personal computer revolution, many of us felt a sense of freedom with owning a bulky PC. In time, though, we felt nearly as if the PC became something of a ball and chain. We came to feel almost as if we were chained to our desks. We felt almost trapped in our offices, in our places of work. Trapped and locked into a grim routine.
And then along came the laptop notebook. With the advent of the laptop notebook, anyone who relied on a PC or a computer generally discovered a new and fuller sense of freedom. Folks who rely on computers were able to abandon…at least for a while…the ball and chain of the hunky personal computer.
Suddenly we found ourselves being able to work out of doors, in coffee shops, bistros…anywhere our hearts and minds desired and our feet could take us. We truly were free, especially when out laptop notebook equipment is teamed up with other pieces of high-tech gadgetry like cellular phones and the like.
This writer has come to believe that by giving people the opportunity via high-tech equipment like a notebook laptop, people will become more creative and more productive. By freeing people of the rut of always having to spend time lugging away in an office, by giving them a breath of fresh air, this writer has come to conclude that everyone ultimately profits with better performance and better quality work.
