The emachine laptop may very well be the ideal solution for a person’s personal computing needs.
Keep in mind that we are not endorsing the emachine laptop – or any other specific product, for that matter. Rather, we merely intend to provide some basic information about the emachine laptop to provide the consumer with some helpful information.
The emachine laptop is not widely in circulation today. However, the equipment does appear – by all accounts – to be of good quality. And while there is scant information on the World Wide Web reviewing the functionality of the emachine laptop, what there is appears to be rather positive.
Emachines recently announced a wide screen notebook PC, the M5305, that includes a DVD player with a 15.4-inch LCD wide screen display (16:10 aspect ratio). The notebook is available now and is priced starting at under $1,300, according to the manufacturer.
The 6.5-pound notebook includes three USB 2.0 ports for higher-speed transfer between peripheral devices, including digital cameras and external hard drives. The DVD player is part of the combination CD-RW/ DVD drive. The M5305 includes a Mobile AMD Athlon XP-M 2200+ processor, a 40G-byte hard drive, 512M bytes of DDR RAM and an ATI Radeon IGP 320M graphics card. The notebook also has a Type II PC card slot, built-in 10/100 Ethernet and a 56K bit/sec V.92 modem. Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition is bundled with the laptop.
Emachines does maintain a Website that provides useful and basic information on its product line. Of course, the emachine Website cannot be considered the most unbiased spot on the Net considering emachine laptop units. However, it does provide a decent resource for the shopping consumer.
