Solving Internet Explorer Problems
Internet Explorer Problems are the modern equivalent of the shipwrecks that plagued voyagers of old. Like all adventurers, Internet Explorers sometimes find themselves cast adrift or on the rocks.
But, unlike Columbus, we have at least some maps to see us through what - to many - are uncharted waters.
Firstly you should have the latest version of Internet Explorer.
If your Internet Explorer Problem is that pages won’t load, scan using Adware and Spybot search-and-destroy. If this fails … don’t launch the lifeboats quite yet. Try using Zilla Connection Accelerator and configure your system for the appropriate connection (i.e. 56K, DSL, cable, etc.).
Should pages still be slow to load, go to start/programs/accessories/systems tools/system restore … and restore to a point before you hit the Internet Explorer Problem. If you’re still in the doldrums, switch to another web browser for deep-sea rescue.
Internet Explorer Problems are often caused maliciously. Don’t visit sites you’re not sure of; they could be what seafarers used to call ‘wreckers’ - coastal pirates that lured ships to destruction by waving attractive but false harbour lights. With Downloader.Ject and Scob codes targeting high-traffic sites, some inviting sites we visit may be infected and cause Internet Explorer Problems as they secretly download a Trojan Horse virus.
Some experts suggest that Windows users - 90% of us - avoid Internet Explorer Problems by simply opting for other browsers. Microsoft is working night and day to overcome Internet Explorer Problems … but new Internet Explorer Problems are reported every week.
Sadly, the ultimate victim might be the Web itself. Security experts used to warn against the dangers of opening suspicious email attachments. Now they’re telling us to avoid Internet Explorer Problems by steering clear of sites we don’t absolutely trust. They haven’t yet told us where to place our confidence. Unlike in days of yore, there are no yellow warning flags to warn of contagion aboard. Seems everywhere you sail, the seas are mined!
